SUMMARY:The Rossi All Ireland Pantomime Horse Derby & Garden Fete
DESCRIPTION:The Rossi present the All-Ireland Pantomine Horse Derby and Garden Fete in aid of Life & Time Charity in the grounds of the picturesque Rostrevor House.\nWe present the first and only All Ireland Pantomine Horse Derby. Participants are challenged to enter a two person team to take part in this totally unique event. Teams will be provided a full size pantomine horse costume for the event and be challenged to take part in a range of equestrian themed heats to see who win the first All-Ireland Pantomine Horse Derby. If you or your company\, club or a friend want to enter a ‘horse’ into the competiton then please pay below or get in touch if you wish to pay in person. \nYou will of course have the ability to name your horse for the event and if being sponsored by your company or workplace\, full exposure and advertising will be facilitated before and during the event\, with the ability to dipslay banners\, the horse owners will also be interviewed at the event. \nThe event is part of a larger Family day\, that will also offer a fun family day out other events such as an old time funfair\, traditional games to play and win at\, live local music acts will be playing\, a Tug of War competition\, a tossing the Sheaf\, Arts and Crafts Fair\, Tea Rooms and lots lots more to really make a fun filled day out. \nThe Pantomime Horse Derby is made up of a range of races around a short loop. There will be no jumps in these races. There is also short Dressage round where your horse will be judged on its performance to a chosen piece of music. Horses with the most points will then proceed to the final race with the winner being crowned the All-Ireland Pantomine Horse Champion 2018!! \nThe Tug of War Competition is a team competition\, consisting of an two open categories of Male and Female. SUMMARY:Rossi 5K- In Memory of Eoin & James #EJ5K
DESCRIPTION:The Rossi 5K & Family Walk- In Memory of Eoin Farrell and James Miskelly returns for another year.\nOn the 28th July ’18 at 6pm\, the Rossi are hosting one of the best 5K Chipped Race in Rostrevor with a family fun walk for all abilities. There are excellent cash prizes and trophies up for grabs\, for 1st Female and 1st Male with Youth trophies for under age Best Youth Males and Females. This year our chosen charity is Life & Time\, a proposed new ‘End of Life’ Palliative Care service for the area.\n5K Runners: £15.\nThis year participants will run one of the best routes around the Rostrevor countryside and the scenic shore line of Carlingford Lough. The route has been designed with safety in mind with only left turns and good surface all the way and will have full marshall and support vehicles for the event. Runners will have safety cars at the front and rear to ensure maximum ‘piece of mind’ for the runners. St. John Ambulance will also be in attendance this year for the event. There will be 2 water stops along the route\, which will give confidence especially with the heat we have experienced this summer so far. \nAll Runners will receive a complimentary beer for our good friends at Mourne Mountains Brewery and fresh nutritious food prepared on the day. All Runners will receive a bespoke Designed Rossi #EJ5K Finishers Medal. \n5K Family Walk: £1-5 \nAfter the runners depart in the chipped event\, walkers will start the scenic route around Rostrevor in memory of Eoin & James and for our chosen Charity\, Life & Time. There are two water stops along the route\, to keep you hydrated and lots of music on the ‘home straight’ to keep you motivated. Each walker will receive a ‘Walkers Medal’ as a momento of your support of the day.

DESCRIPTION:Eoin Farrell and James Miskelly Memorial 5K\n4 of the Rossi Runners\, Jason Fegan\, Brendan ‘Duddy’ Parr\, Barry Og Mc Conville and Martin Doran approached the families of these two great friends\, to ask permission to organise a 5K race/walk in their memory and to raise funds for a fantastic local charity. \nThe #EJ5K will be held in conjunction with the Fiddlers Green Festival\, on the 29th July 2017 at 6pm from the Square in Rostrevor. The route will take in some of the best views Rostrevor has to offer and will start and finish in the heart of the picturesque village. \nWe expect huge interest and so we have to limit entrants for the 5K chipped event at 300 runners. But you can however also choose to walk the route\, as we are also offering a family 5K walk. There will be music and entertainment and with live music on the open air stage straight after the event\, it is sure to be one of the best events in the racing calendar. \nRace Time: 6pm\nRegistration from 4pm in the Square\, Rostrevor.\n \n  \nTo Register\, Please follow the link to NI Athletics.
